Montignano Historical Residence is the ideal place for people looking for a restful and relaxing holiday, located at 600 meters altitude, in the middle of fir-trees, chestnut-trees and walnut-trees.
The house is made up of two apartments, each one with two double-bedrooms, country-style furnished.

 

MONTIGNANO It is a good example of an old Tuscan farmhouse, built by Engineer Felice Tavani (Ancestor of the present owners) in about 1860 when, after inheriting the farm, he decided to move and live there with his family coming from Rome.
It is made up of a mansion-house, private chapel (where is also the family cemetery and a lot of family members got married), cellar, wood-oven, laundry, garden.
Eugenio Pacelli, (Pope Pio XII), who was born in the near Onano, spent some time in this place when he was young.
